Multi-purpose special blocks

Rinker Materials block manufacturing is working to improve both customer service and operational efficiency by creating special multi-purpose blocks.

Sash block - used to create expansion joints in masonry wall systems - are now included when customers order half-block (T-150s), foundation block (T-306s), and half-foundation blocks (T-329s).

This change eliminates the need for customers to order several different block types of the same dimensions, enabling them to plan their work and run their jobsites more efficiently. This also benefits Rinker Materials by reducing the number of block types kept in inventory and lowering the number of mould changes required to keep our customers supplied.
